Is it possible to keep the lower tailgate open and to then close the upper one?

Yes, as above. I did it on Friday to enable me to pull a fencing panel down from the roof of a garage where I was storing it out of harms way. |

How did you specify it, because my dealer says you can’t just get the door trims you have to have the vents too All LR cars from 1984

Hi Chalky, I didn't, I bought it as is when it was 2.5 years old. Although I have seen plenty of others that are similar. Perhaps it's no longer an option?

Mine is the same, I’ve heard somewhere that it’s not possible on the new cars though for some reason. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
