It's expensive but is it justified?

I'm trying to decide if this is good value for a really nice example or just plain expensive
https://www.speedsgx.co.uk/vehicle/landrov...6775ddcafe

There aren't many in red and I think I like it, MOT history is good and frankly there aren't many at 50k miles any more but it's a lot... AT valuation has it at closer to 12-12.5 but as someone will say, find another..
Any thoughts?

I’d say that it’s nowhere near good value, and the fact you can’t find another, means you’ve nothing to compare it to, and it’s a sellers market with this particular one.

I’d have to really really want that particular car.

Nice colour though, and looks extremely clean.... but that’s one hell of a premium to pay.....

Perhaps if it was previously owned by George Michael....

Just my 2p....

IMHO Low mileage cars are just as troublesome as high mileage, you want one that has been used regularly and well maintained, not one that has either sat about for months on end going nowhere, or worse, one that has been driven 3 miles a day and never even got warm... Thumbs Up Pete

Very bad value for money. One was shared this morning which is not only newer as in my2010+ but also low mileage, less owners and the same price.

I bought my 5.0SC for much less than that as well.

I saw the 5s/c on the ebay thread earlier and I'd agree that is a much better deal assuming both stack up.
If they don't ask they won't get but I think there needs to be a slight readjustment for that car unless someone really wants that colour scheme.

It's not always about 'value for money', gut feeling is something I nearly always go with, at first sight I thought this was expensive....but.....looking at the colour, stance & general 'buy me' look....is it really overpriced?
Put £14k in your back pocket & go find something similar, can it be done, possibly.
You're a long time dead as someone once said, if you like it & fancy it...buy it! simple as that. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

I paid 10k for my 56 4.2SC in Westminster Blue in 2017. Alright it had more miles (120k ish). Back when I was looking for mine, they were around 10-15k. Not sure what the market rate is for them at the moment but I would have thought lower

As always, the value of something is what someone else is prepared to pay for it. When all is said and done you have to make a decision about whether for you the price is what you are prepared to pay for it. As has been mentioned before, you're a long time dead and you can't take the money with you 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Firenze Red

Looking at the MOT history it's only done 4k miles in the past three years and before that around 3k miles p.a. so maybe lots of short journeys?

Agreeing with the low miles point above I'd rather have a higher miles well maintained version. Also of note it's a Scottish registration and although difficult to say how long it spent up here originally, Scotlands' perma-salted winter roads are notoriously hard on cars, especially Land Rover products so a good inspection of the undersides is recommended!

So this one wouldn't be considered as priced to sell then. Rolling with laughter

Hahaha no not in my world. Only one year ago that would have been an 8K car tops.

I agree that value is whatever anyone is willing to pay. But these prices are just crazy in my opinion, especially so in context of the range. Inferior engine, outdated everything like headlights, taillights, dashboard, music integration. The list goes on.

But hey if someone is willing to pay the money then fair play. I’ll happily sell mine 🤣

Nice one. I recon my 4.4 TDV8 should be worth at least £32k then.... Rolling with laughter

Seriously though, as said already, it’s worth what someone is willing to pay. If it’s what you fancy....
