nick, have you check your spare wheel to see if you have water laying around the compressor, as under normal conditions with a dry car you wont get condensation, but if you have a leak and there is water collecting someware this will cause it...we at work get them packs when new machines are delivered, about 1 kg bags, how much are you paying for them... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

If you leave the A/C on (like its meant to be) then you won't get moisture in the car unless you have a leak. |

Dan I'm gaining alot of information from your posts never new your ment to leave the AC on all the time is this just in a RR or all cars? Does it matter if you have the air circulating from engine or just in cabin if you know what I mean |

The principle applies in any car, mainly ones with "Climate Control" it is designed to just be set and left on Auto. With the AC running all the time - in cold weather it cycles on and off just taking the moisture out of the air. This is so important in a RR, not just for comfort and the not steaming windows, but also for the longevity of the various ECU's and connections. In the RR, just leave it on Auto-Recirc so it can close the vents if there is pollution and open up in fresh air. However even in a standard car, you can leave the A/C on and with the temperature set to hot it will again just cycle on and off dehumidifying. A/C systems have come a long way so are no longer a drain on the engines power and don't really effect MPG these days, especially on a big engine.

I had a leak past the rear boot lid seal that left some water in the RHS well at the rear, after replacing the seal with a new one, I put a large bag of the moisture absorbing crystals in until it had done its job. I then put another one in to be sure and months later it was still as dry as a nuns crutch, so out it came.

I SUSPECT that the rear quarter seals may leak on some vehicles where they meet the D pillar
