2019 Range Rover Vogue SE 2.0 PHEV Santorini Black

Underbody gearbox cover bolts

Hi all
After a recent visit to the dealers for some transfer case wiring repairs have noticed a slight rattling from underneath and found that the 4 small 10m head outer bolts on the panel underneath the gearbox are missing or just about to fall out as they have obviously not been tightened (Should I be surprised? ) )
just wondering if anyone knew the bolt thread sizes or part numbers

might be something in the WM but i would be inclined to take one of the remaining bolts out and measure it ? ... - .- -.

I took a couple of those out when I fitted my side steps recently, think you'll find they are M6. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

Get one bolt as a sample, measure and get same from do-it-yourself shops or engineering supply places, will save you a fortune, last place I would ever go for general bolts etc is a MD
These places will have the same bolts in any material you want.

Edit - Plus the internet for bolts / washers.

According to the WM there are 2 sizes, M6 and M10 and there are 10 of them fixing the undershield so you might want to make sure they are all there

I think the one's you show are the 4 that hold the 2 fibre side panels so aren't structural and would be M6. The M10 ones are used to fix the undershield to the chassis, hence 60Nm torque.

Its the smaller outer ones that are missing and have checked all the others are there and are tight

beggars belief that the dealers cant do a simple thing like tighten a bolt up Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

Its terrible.
You need to complain about this, what else are they forgetting to complete properly.
They should at least install new bolts for you, or send you a set as you have lost all faith in their ability. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
