Plastic door handle covers...

Horrible and a waste of money? Or a better bet than repainting the handles?
Ta muchly for input!

It is an easy quick cheap fix to make a car look better, just fitted zermatt silver ones to mine, because I thought I did not have the time to remove the handles to carry out a proper paint job.

You know what is next - Two days later I saw an old thread by Haylands - NO, the handles do not have to be removed, and it is easy to do, so I wasted money on the plastic covers Censored

Note to self, next time do more research first.

Thank you, that's the one, only I saw it too late. I had already spent the money. Now I need to buy the paint, it never ends. Big Cry

Thanks for all the responses, links and photos! It occurs to me that by getting the covers I can still revert back to the original look if required, so I will give them a go...and, as has been said, maybe respray them when it's warmer!
