Remap egr delete

Morning all, can anyone recommend best place to get egr delete and remap here in Hampshire. Just done both inlet manifold rocker cover gaskets, what a job, thought I would put egr blank kit on. Brought the kits long time ago but wasn't sure whether they were good as apparently they can cause other probs.

Get a kit off Ebay and DIY fit. Sounds like you have one already.
If you do get an EML then get it mapped out by Bell Auto Services. They have reps all over UK - see their website.

I’ve had Quantum EGR delete/remaps done on my last two 3.6TDV8s with no problems. Last one cost £249.

Well with doing Thumbs Up

EGR delete

Thanks everyone. Iv'e just found out that i have a quantum dealer agent on my doorstep so looking to get done soon. spoke with Gary's team at Alive tuning and he siad there were happy to remap but did'nt think EGR delete was NOT good as it interferes with DPF (if fitted) and cat converter's. So defo going for remap but still not to sure weather to blank EGR's and delete at same time. Sounds like a lot of mixed views.

Have you got a DPF fitted? I believe it was an optional extra for your vehicle......

The worry with not blanking the EGR valves is that if they break up they may be ingested into the turbo! Some threads on here about this...

Egr

Yes I can see that and don't have DPF so kind of makes sense to blank off delete and remap including turning off.
