Roof tile damage

Hi everyone

Looking for some advice re some damage on my bonnet. A few weeks ago during the storms a tile fragment from the roof fell down and hit the bonnet. The damage is minimal a small paint chip and a little ding if you look at the bonnet in the right angle. However it is really bugging me , I thought that I could live with it but unfortunately my eye keeps getting drawn to it ! Sad
I am looking for recommendations for a good bodyshop in the Surrey area to repair the damage to as good as new, the paint is a tricky one as it looks black/dark blue in dull light, but if sunlight hits it you get a beautiful lighter metallic blue flake really shine out, so want to ensure that whoever repairs it can do a good job.
I have asked Wimbledon Land rover during the cars recent service but they outsource body work to another local body shop.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

Not Surrey but Bodytechnics in Slough are highly regarded, albeit won’t be cheap.

Keith at Morden Coachworks had done all my scratches and dings over the years. Last job was a respray on my 11 year old M3, bonnet, roof, 2 doors. Always a fantastic job. Did my Aston a few years back as well, a trolley ding at the supermarket. The dealership wanted £2.5k plus materials, Keith was an awful lot more considerate!

Thanks!

Be interested to hear how much you're looking at.

Also thinking smart repairs? Ask a decent local car dealer who they use.

. Cheers, Greg

Thanks Craig I forgot about that, will ask, obviously bodytechnic will be well aware of that but other bodyshops maybe best to check.

Not sure how much the costs will be , but will want to pay for a proper job Greg .... I will get a quote from the main dealer too.... Smile

Unfortunately I think you will find that home insurance will not cover for damage to your own property but certainly worth asking. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23
