Afternoon i am after the location of the plug that the dash center speakers connect to if anyone would know after upgrading from a 12 speaker system,i am doing a hifi upgrade and i cant find the conector. I currently have the 12 speaker system so no speaker in the dash at the moment but i have the 2 x 8 wire speaker plugs comming from the amp so the speaker wires should be in the dash somewhere, i found the parcel shelf speaker wires close to where the speaker will be located.
Any information would be great,have a good weekend. Thanks

Thanks for that information stan but it does not show where they tucked the dash center speaker wires that come from the amp because they were not used on my build.

the only other thing i can find is some wiring diagrams but nothing like what you are looking for...

Are you upgrading to 19 speakers?
If so does this help? at least you will know the cable colours (2nd from bottom circuit) Green&Orange and White&Blue

I might even already have it as when i lifted the center grill i found a wire that goes to the solar sensor and that cable on the diagram goes to the solar sensor and the speaker so i will have another look as i cant imagine they bothered to fit a differnt cable just because you dont have a center speaker.

@154JON were you able to find the connector for the centre dash speaker in there somewhere or did you have to wire a new one from the sub?

I’m thinking of doing the same upgrade. Mainly to get the centre speaker to get better sound stage.

The speaker wire was already there i found it in the area where the temperature sensor is in the dashboard just to the left of the stearing column.

And is my understanding correct that with the standard 380W amp that centre speaker won't work even if it's plugged in? And a new premium 16 amp is needed to power that?

I am not too bothered about the additional settings and only want to add the centre speaker for better sound stage. Otherwise I'm quite happy with the sound.

I just sold my P400e with the 19 speaker system and although I prefer my system in the 2016 model (mainly due to the sub being under driver seat) it was nice to have the centre speaker and better sound stage. haha L405 2016 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 - Going strong

Only the signature 29 speaker systems needs two power supplies the mid 19 speaker amp is a straight swap and the extra speaker wires are already under the passenger seat ready to plug in. I upgraded mine about 3 years ago and from memory you have to upgrade the amp and upload the the files from a gap tool to get the center speaker working.
