gearbox oil level

can the gear box oil level be checked with the IID tool RR 2005 4.4 petrol
Any spelling mistakes are the fault of spellchecker
Previous MG J2, CITROEN light 15 x 2 gone unfortunately

Unfortunately not. It will tell you the fluid temperature, though, which you need to correctly check/set the fluid level.
