Expensive number plate

Spotted a new looking FFRR, Blue colour, today when travelling from Flint to Wrexham
Too much traffic / speed to get any other details, but......

Registration plate was '16AB' Only caught a quick look at it, that plate must have cost a mint. Shocked

AB would originally have been registered in God’s own county of Worcestershire. The local plod there used to have an unmarked P6 Rover 3.5 with a reg no of AB1. That would look good on a fully loaded FFRR

My favourite is

F U 2

Used to be owned by Fiona Middleton ??? ( sex agony aunt from the 70’s)

Came up for sale a year or so ago , I couldn’t see me getting that past the wife , was only £225,000 Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

The best plates I ever saw were on a pair of cars parked in front of a house on the corner of Milman's Street and the Chelsea Embankment in London, with a view of the Thames.

They were an Aston Martin DB9 and a Range Rover, the plates:

2BE and NOT 2B
Bow down

Pretty much my ideal two-car garage. 2012 L322 TDV8 Vogue SE: Buckingham Blue

Fiona Richmond, and it used to be on a Classic RR back in the 90s. Used to see it a lot in the A4.

Back in the 80’s I had the reg number A62 ANT on a Granada. Looking through reg numbers for sale in Exchange and Mart I spotted A61 ANT for sale for £10k Shocked

Already planning the purchase of my new 2.8i Capri, it took my much wiser older brother to point out A61 ANT could be changed to read A GIANT, where as A62 ANT couldn’t Embarassed

Managed to pap a photo of those two a few years ago whilst on a classic car 'cruise' round London...
