Help Needed (Ivory Seats)

Ok I am about to lock in my order...but I am wobbling on Ivory seats

This car is my inspiration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzEnEWZqUDI&t=121s

I had black seats with ivory colour-way before which really lightened the interior. This will be a 2nd car and not subject to the usual school run abuse so hoping I can keep it in good order. Any reason why the ivory (Windsor leather) should not hold up over time? 2021 L405 Vogue D300

Never had a problem with Ivory in my L322. Just give it a regular clean with a decent leather cleaner and conditioner. Current car has oatmeal semi aniline and I just do the same. Still looks and smells as new!

Yes, just have wipes in the car for times of panic....

And on a more general note, and I have wondered this for years and been told different things..... is the leather not sealed with something, so the conditioners etc don’t actually do anything?

I still use a conditioner etc, but don’t know if I’m wasting my time....?

I had Ivory on my Westie and apart from going on the bolster where its not leather, the L405 seat is different, so shouldn't be an issue. As AndyS had been said with regular cleaning and feeding the leather, they should be fine. The biggest killer for ivory is dye from denim, but you can usually remove that with a baby wipe.

Curious to hear how quickly you'll get a build date, please let me know.

Thanks folks, help me put my mind at rest.
I have been told to expect 14-18 weeks build, it was noted that some models/engine configurations are no longer available.

I have my ivory interior for 2 years now and I'm wearing jeans and dark clothing, it's not really a problem, only the side where I climb gets colored sometimes at the seams, but it can be cleaned quite easily. As mentioned before in the forum, never use wipes or other non-leather cleaning products, a relatively cheap and successful product is this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CarPlan-Ultra-Lea...B00VRESMCG
The real problem, if you want, are the ivory colored seatbelts, now that's not easy to clean! 2019 Vogue P400e

No problems with Ivory. All my cars have had Ivory and I live in the countryside, shooting/fishing etc and I've never had a problem with cleaning. It also makes the car lighter and makes it feel even more spacious.

Get the D300 engine it's superb, quick, no lag and good on mpg. I see you have the TDV6 at present but it's even better than that engine. Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984

Dilute Woolite in a hand spray. Job done and cheap.
Most leather is painted then sealed not dyed. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Have a look at the colourlock range or LTT leathercare. I don’t have light leather in this car, but have in the last and the products to protect the seats from dye transfer really do work and the Nappa leather seats on my last car looked like new after 60k miles as did the more basic leather on the one I had before that which I did nearly 100k miles in.

I wouldn’t use baby wipes or other products not designed for use on automotive leather. Some people recommend magic erasers....they make the leather look great but it doesn’t last long and it wears it away the top coat quite quickly. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Not clear exactly but I Rockar told me only the 3.0 diesel variants were oderable, and some options and models may not be available as the factory turns over to production of the new model (which I guess makes sense). I think I need to find a factory build slot and alter that to get a car before production ceases entirely 2021 L405 Vogue D300

Is production going to plan on the FF? I know someone who had a P300E Evoque on order and LR have cancelled his order, blaming the semi-conductor supply issue. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Had black seats in my 07 322 and ivory seats in my ‘12 and have and ivory dash in the 405 with black seats. The whole interior in Ivory really brightens the car up. And contrary to it looking dirty, I think it actually hides most dirt better than black. Crumbs and mud aren’t black..... they are a sort of slightly off brown....ivoryish colour. Never had a problem with it, yes you get a bit of grimy ness on the drivers bolster. It nothing which can be cleaned with some gliptone and a micro fibre cloth, and in terms of wear I don’t think it was any worse than the black interior In the 07. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
