Sorry to be negative but I'd be highly surprised if this vehicle actually materialises. As far as I know, production for L405 is as good as finished.

Just spoken to my local dealer, they are still taking orders for L405's and think ordered now would be delivered at the back end of the year, the only way I would see that happen is if they have to slip the L460 further back. I think they are happy to take deposits and deal with any potential fallouts when they are unable to deliver further down the line, not great customer service if thats the approach. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I cant believe dealers would be allowed to take orders that JLR has no intention to fulfil, no more certain a way to alienate a whole load of the buying public if they turned round months later and said "sorry we are not making them anymore". Yes, sometime in September, hopefully.

From memory you've gone for the P400 AB, did you choose anything like HUD? I think that and some of the Drive Pro pack items are causing the issue.

I skipped the HUD Mutley as is was on the list of items that would delay the order so fingers crossed there isn't anything else that would impact my build.

So with yours and James's timeframe that sounds about 17-18 weeks ? which I guess under the circumstances isn't too bad. That would put me about the first week in Dec if the situation doesn't get any worse.
