Not a trick question....

I have been told that the reason my new aftermarket foglights do not fit is because my 2009 L322 is an SE and not a 'standard' Range Rover...whereas, I am convinced the problem is that they have sent me fog lights for a 2010 model. Can anybody shed some light (ha!) on this matter for me please?

You've been sent the wrong ones. Mine (2009 Westie) are identical to yours, 3 fixing points, not 4.

BTW, if you are replacing them because of that misting on the lens, it's just wipes off from the inside with a bit of elbow grease - the lights come apart really easily. Mine did exactly the same when I bought the car and have been fine ever since (2 years now) 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

Thanks for that! I have a feeling they are trying to wriggle out of paying return postage by suggesting they are not at fault..🤔🙄

I will also try your suggestion to clean up the lenses...although the back of the whole units looks pretty corroded too!
