L405 Heated Windscreen

The windscreen on my 2014 Supercharged Petrol only delists on the driver's side. Therefore, I had a look in the engine compartment fuse box where I thought there might be some fuses (there is nothing in the manual).

The fuse diagram in the fuse box lid shows two fuses which seems to align with the two sides being on independent circuits which I had been told.

As the photo indicated, there are two 40 Amp fuses.

I removed the two fuses shown.

Greeny/Blue with a a clear plastic lid. On inspection both looked fine which is disappointing as this presumably means the problem is some where less convenient. I have ordered a couple of new fuses and will replace them to see if it improves, but it seems unlikely.

Thoughts please. 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4

If ot does not work at all, the other option is that the heated screen relay has failed. This is also shown on the photos. I took mine out to see if there any signs of anything odd and the put it back. 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4

You can remove the A pillar trims in seconds. This is where the terminals are for the heated screen. I'd check for broken/loose contacts or a damaged ribbon. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Check the side that isn't working. A multimeter may also help. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I took the cover off today and all seemed ok except a redundant blue and white wire/connector. There did not seem to be anything to which it should be connected. See photo.

there are 2 plugs there..one is for the screen which is live and the other is an optional for the wiper defrost. that one has no power

when i got mine the wiper defrost plug was connected to the screen , changed them over and the screen worked..

switch on the heated screen and put a multimeter on both plugs .. ... - .- -.
