United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
ABS Reluctor Ring

Hi

On removing hub knuckle in order to replace the ball joint cassette I found that the reluctor/sensor ring has come away from the driveshaft. It appears to be very loose on the shaft. the ring itself is not cracked or broken. It seems like it is 2-3mm too big in diameter. Possible parts of it had corroded away?
Does this mean a replacement driveshaft or can anyone advise as to how to reattached it.

Thanks

It meant a replacement driveshaft when I had my TD6, but since then, a number of suppliers do them separately. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Thanks for info. The ring that came off is only 2-3mm thick. On checking eBay link I see the item shown is 5mm thick. Internal diameter of new part is 93mm so will be a tight press fit.
Obviously time to order new part.

Thanks again.

Yes, I believe it’s a tight fit. The rear left stuffed up on mine, and that’s where the speedo feeds from. That’s an issue, as when I tried to drive it, car thought 3 wheels were spinning, as it had a zero speed reading. It activated traction control and then reduced engine power 🤣

Hi. Happened to me. Got the rings and some Delphi sensors ( try getting OE ones ). Turned out the drive shafts where the rings fit onto were rotten - looked like the rats had chewed them. So 500 a side shafts needed from LR.

Got two from a breaker - in great condition - for 100 the pair off a low mileage 2011 RR. Fitted new boots etc and painted them. Reluctor rings were intact and in good order. A good few hours, and some high end swearing, to fit. Delphi sensors were no good so revived the OE ones that were fitted. Loads of plus gas and patience and I managed to get them out .

That was a few months back. All good since. ----------------
