United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Causeway Grey

I have work colleagues in NL. A car like that will have something like a 70% tax slapped on it when it is registered. Taking a UK car over there and registering it will attract the same tax based on its original sticker price.

Yes and no.

Prices for new cars (and cars not older than 15 years) are extreme in NL because of a special vehicle tax which you must also pay if you import a car.

For "youngtimers" i.e cars that are more then 15 years old tho, this is only marginal...

For reference, a brand new P525 Autobiography is just shy of GBP 215 k

Add to that about GBP 250 a month in road tax.... RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - 11

What are your thoughts on L322 prices going forward?

Most seem to agree that "the L405 is a better car but the L322 is a better Range Rover" and the way Land Rover seem to be heading is more "luxurious" for lack of a better word eg. new disco, new defender and RR now competing with pure luxury brands.

The L322 and Disco 4 seem to be the last of the old school Land Rovers - is there a comparison to be made to air cooled Porsches?

If so, do the diesels have any chance of becoming collectible or is the 4.2/5.0 the only ones that will have any value?

Today the Classic is highly desirable but nobody cares about the P38 (for good reason?)

My 2 pence, a good L322 (insert your own definition) is already very hard to find - 5-10 years from now it will be almost impossible....this will be reflected in prices going up? RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - 11
