Im thinking of Selling my L322

And going back to a BWM X5

Ive just spent a shed load on it. And I have kind of lost my interest in it.

Drove it to Alicante Airport the other day, guzzled a load of diesel and it now feels like there is an issue with the gearbox. It was a bit hesitant and lumpy.

Ive done less than 6,000 miles since we bought it 2 years ago, mainly due to lockdown etc.

Im not sure what it s Worth.

2012
60,000 miles
Blind Spot
Rear Entertainment
Full Cameras
Electric Rear Seat recline
Full Quad Climate control (Individual in rear seats)

Ive just had a JLR Service, New battery, New Starter motor and Discs and Pads all around.

I'd take your silver Westie off your hands in a heartbeat if I could.

Would suggest you hold on to it. As you've already invested a lot, you'd better find out what's wrong and decide whether it's worth (to you) fixing or letting go. It will surely fetch more if working properly.
If it no more sings to you though, perhaps it's best to move on. But X5s are troublesome too...Just sayin...

I bought my much older 2004 1st generation two years ago as well and did a whole lot of maintenance on it. But I've squeezed every last euro spent in the form of miles / km out of it.

It sounds like it needs the gearbox software update. The 4.4 suffered from a hesitancy around 2000 rpm which could be felt when cruising, I noticed it on my 12 and a software update sorted it out. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ
