Australia 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
just saying nothing

When I got the engine going some time ago, I had no warning lights come on
After about 600 km, I discovered I had a fuel leak
I jacked the right side of the car up and eventually fixed the fuel leak
Since then, the red brake light and the abs light comes on, some times after 15km or some times while I am reversing out of my place,
I thought I should change the oil and filter in the gear box, as I don’t know when it was last done, if ever.
I have done 500km since then and the lights have never come on.
The air bag light started to come on and now its on most of the time
The GAP tool says it’s the “seat occupancy sensor”
I have located the sensor but getting it out is another thing, looks like I might have to remove the seat.
I bought a jaguar last week (a car, not a cat) oil in the coolant, the fun continues RR 2005 4.4 petrol

It’s called “character “

If you wanted reliability you’d have got a Lexus, then hated the soulless thing for ever! Everyday in a JLR product is an adventure one way or another.

I actually just came from an old 2004 ls430. 23mpg v8. I mainly bought it as I wanted similar bhp and more luxury than an old bmw 530d that robbed me of 5k worth of “you won’t be able to sell me until you fixed it” repairs. Eventually I let it go.

The Lexus was amazing, so much tech and a sublime drive which could pick its heels up. Unfortunately after 3 years of only paying for fuel and a set of tyres the Land Rover itch got too bad after owning one few years back. You’re correct though, not much soul, they’re like a perfectly fitting pair o slippers when you need dancing shoes

Keep away from e60s too... Censored
