England 2015 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Santorini Black
Selling with some independent history

I’m thinking of selling our 15 plate vogue. Up till my ownership it had main dealer history up to 55,000. It’s now sitting at 78 with recipes for oil changes etc done by my fathers garage. Sorry for the purists out there but I personally trust indys especially my fathers garage more than main dealers.

It’s a tdv6 on a 15 plate. Santorini black with the usual vogue spec plus a few extras. I’m looking at prices of others advertised and it seems to vary so much I’m just not sure how to put a asking price. I’m absolutely certain the lack of main dealer history would put some off. And of cause it’s a bartering point from a buyers point of view. Just want to gauge people’s opinions on here. Thanks

I would prefer to buy from someone that used an Indy than an MD? Indy`s want you to come back so will look after your interest better?
just my opinion.

I would have thought that having the service etc done by your father's garage would be a good selling point. He isn't going to skimp over things his he? Thumbs Up All LR cars from 1984

I just sold my 2013 and it had mostly MD and some recent large indy bills, I'd say its irrelevant but I'd get invoices for the work to show whats done as it will help.

I also think WBAC and add 10% is private sale money. Thats where I ended up.

I would also maybe pay for a MD to do a print out of your onboard computer to show whats really going on. I did that with my Indy as they have the computer but most dont. Monarch have invested in the equipment which made me very comfortable they were doing a better job that Taggarts as they never mentioned the printout at all and there was some things like easy fixes that would have made the car run better.

just my 2p worth but I'll see Craig and raise him! Family bag of crisps! Laughing

It's a strong market so with that mileage you should do well. all smug in my new plug!
