Are these faults related? | |
The other day my '11 TDV8 came up with the 'Park Brake Fault'.
IID suggests "U2002-92 (2B) Switch general electrical failure - Component failure - performance or incorrect operation".
That lasted for a day or two before the dash lit up like a Christmas tree:
"Stability Control Not Available"
"HDC Not Available"
"Emergency Brake Assist Not Available"
Checking IID again and we now have "U0128-00 (2E) Lost communication with parking brake control module"
Plus a few others that seem related:
U0140-00 (A Lost communication with body control module
U0415-68 (2C) Invalid data received from ABS control module - Algorithm based failure - event information
B100D-87 (2 Column lock authorisation - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message
U0415-00 (2C) Invalid data from ABS control module
U0415-00 (2 Invalid data from ABS control module
This morning we get a Gearbox Failure message wihich IID shows as:
U101B-87 (2C) Lost communication with GSM - multiple bus - Bus signla/message failure - missing a message
B1087-82 (2C) LIN bus A - Bus signal/.message failure - alive/sequence counter is incorrect/not updated
U0103-63 (2C) Lost communication with gearshift module - Algorithm based failure - circuit/component protection time out.
I can clear the faults and haven't seen the gearbox faults since, but the others show up after driving for ten to twenty metres.
Have I got a wiring issue or is the parking brake throwing errors all over the place?
