Wobble when foot off throttle and gear change.

Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8 2011

On a straight road the car occasionally gives a bit of a wobble or shimmy. Seems to be at around 50mph usually when it changes up or when taking foot off throttle. It’s as if there is a rut in the road but obviously there isn’t. Checked tyre pressures. No fault codes. Wheel nuts all tight.

Could it be suspension related eg something shifts slightly due to torque changes at gear change or power off?

Or some gearbox/drive train problem?

Any thoughts?

David

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Sounds like play somewhere, take it to a garage and get them to check the suspension and steering joints for play, front and back...

Any MOT garage should be able to do it, doesn't have to be a specialist... Thumbs Up Pete
