When you pull up in traffic and notice that smoke is pouring off the rear nearside wheel it's time for some work....! That's a problem with the S/C... 500+BHP and you just don't notice a sticking calliper....

Thanks guys, yes, I was shocked at the price of the callipers but the rebuild kit was cheap enough, as I wasn't in a massive rush I got it from https://www.autodoc.co.uk/

Nice - well done. I have used autodoc and their sister sites before for my autobox filter and fluid - really cheap compared to UK sites if you don't mind the wait.

I too have bought parts from Autodoc, all parts purchased so far were of very good quality.

I’ve done exactly the same job over the last 2 evenings! What was going to be a brake pad change turned out the same as you….discs, handbrake shoes….callipers weren’t as bad as yours but I’ll be probably changing them in the next 12 months….. |

That's a good price, still twice as much as doing it yourself though and the powder coat will last much longer than paint... |
