Best mpg by engine and model

What is the best mpg you have managed to get? and best range in a tank?

I wonder if we can get a table like the total mileage put together?

No point asking any of the petrol owners is as its never going to be over 15mpg unless you live at on top of the m1 and work is in one of the services so your always on the motorway

Anyways I'll start the ball rolling

2003 4.4 v8 petrol vogue 16mpg (12mpg if I'm towing)

TD6 2006, 27 / 28 mpg on a long run, North Wales to South Wales and back on A roads. Low to mid 20's when tootling around locally on short runs.

PS - Edit - Consumption was worked out by brimming the tank immediately before and after said journey to get an exact figure of fuel used, as the dash figures don't seem to be very reliable.

SDV8-I regularly see early to mid 30’s “on a run”, but average 27-28mpg. I use the basic Shell diesel.

Get a free fuel app, such a RoadTrip lite for accurate figures.

L405 4.4SDV8. I get 34-36 on long runs, but the computer is very optimistic, so that’s actually 31-33. My calculated mpg over 12,500 miles is 28.1 with a best fill up of 31.1. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid
