New bond film…..

Just seen it, 90% was pretty good, it’s quite long and there are some very Un bond moments……like the ending…. I can’t work out my feeling about that one, not going to spoil it though, it’s worth a watch on the big screen. Lots of Deafeners and sports get wrecked which is nice, some good car chases, lots of fighting, and a megalomaniac so it is fairly bondy. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just back, watched for the first time on imax, Jesus sound was amazing. As above really mixed about the end . The rumours floating about their inter webs about the next one being a she seem to be true .

Barbara Broccoli has refuted the rumours about a female Bond.

She says that she and her business partner (and half-brother) Michael G. Wilson will discuss Daniel Craig's replacement next year.

This is an excerpt from an interview with them both in Variety magazine;

There are certain things the duo appears open to considering, and other conversations that are nonstarters, when it comes to selecting the next Bond. “He can be of any color, but he is male,” says Broccoli. “I believe we should be creating new characters for women — strong female characters. I’m not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman play it. I think women are far more interesting than that.”

Absolutely, Stan.

I watched about 6 minutes of one programme with Jodie Whittaker. A fine actress (female actor?) but definitely the wrong direction for Doctor Who.

I went yesterday afternoon to see it. The Cinema experience was great, the film was a disappointment. The plot wasn't the best, not much in the way of humour, gadgetry mediocre and the ending was rubbish. The videography and sound was brilliant.
I'm glad I saw it but it isnt one I'd watch again. BMW i3 Electric Car

Whereas I thought it was great… well worth a visit.

We did go mid afternoon to avoid Covid crowds & about 20 people in a 400 seat cinema Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits.
