Battery drain

Is it normal for a fairly new battery to drain to next to nothing in 3 weeks ? it is a AGM 019 battery.

No. My 2012 WM drained its battery on two occasions, both due to software faults, the first time relating to the fuel burning heater, the second time relating to locking. As it was under warranty it went to the dealer and the faults were rectified. Apparently the battery needs to be fully charged before it is possible to test whether the discharge has damaged it beyond repair. In my case the first time the battery was ruined and was replaced under warranty, the second time the battery was OK.

I don't know about the battery type you have, mine was as fitted by LR. New batteries can be defective, but you probably need to get the car checked for faults that drain the battery, and then have the battery fully charged and then checked to see if it remains capable of holding charge.

Incidentally there are quite a few threads on 322 battery drain which might help you (via search function) Only Range Rovers since 1988
