aahhh really....are the adverts for recon engines with new parts ect ive found not correct then..??? hence why looking for recommendations...thanks |

There are plenty of parts to rebuild. It just depends on the extent of what is required. I believe only the engine block and crankshaft are not available as a seperate, brand new part. So, if the engine has thrown a rod and punched a hole in the side of the block, then yes Craig is right a second hand engine is probably the best route. For everything else, a rebuild is perfectly possible.

Ahh, my apologies sir… These parts must have recently been released… When I last checked, just like the 3.0SDV6 nothing was available from JLR…
