Rear Brakes

There’s only one thing worse than a bad job on a car and that’s a half baked job that’s just bloody dangerous 😡😡😡😡😡
Just put new rear pads and discs on the Range Rover only to find the last idiot who did this only put pads on the passenger side.
They were about half worn but the drivers side were non existent 😡😡😡😡
If your going to work on your car then at least do a decent job especially when it’s on the Brakes of a 2.5 Tonne 300 BHP missile.
What makes it worse is looking at the history I think it was done a Garage 😳😳😳
Needless to say it’s all been done properly now and everything is back to Safe and normal 😎

But are you certain that only one side was previously changed, rather than having a sticky caliper on the now non existent side? L322 3.6 TDV8 Vogue. 07MY

But are you certain that only one side was previously changed, rather than having a sticky caliper on the now non existent side

I have to agree with the above my drivers side were non existent but passenger side more than 50% left, very easy for a sticking calliper to do this 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8
2006 Discovery 3 HSE 260k miles and still going strong with a new owner

Sadly all too common. Especially braking and suspension work. Butchered housings, nuts and bolts either over torqued or not tight at all. Nuts and bolts rounded off and reused (why? They are not expensive and a safety feature). I've got more spare stock bolts nuts etc than most garages it seems. Moral to this issue is a b c. Assume nothing. Believe fully only what you have seen. Check everything.... ----------------
