I Need Advice/ Guidence 2008 Range Rover TDV8 Honeymoon Car

Hi Folks.

So as some of you know I've recently purchased a 2008 RR 3.6 TDV8 Vogue SE. This car was purchased to be primarily used as a honeymoon car for myself and my now wife (we leave on Tuesday) for Scotland.

Sadly, we haven't had much luck with the car. Despite being reasonably clean within 200 miles of purchase the Turbos failed and thus we had to replace both units.

Since getting the car back after a full rebuild of turbos we have an intermittent fault whereby I receive a fault 'engine system fault' and the car restricts power. This is in bank A and it appears to be related to a potential leak? I have replaced both top Intercooler hoses and I believe one of the small intercooler hoses (Top left) (90 Degree) piece is collapsing so I will replace that. That's my hope!

Then, last week a few days before the wedding I got an air suspension error relating to exhaust gallery venting. I removed the exhaust muffer and I ordered rebuild kits online, but didn't have much luck. It didn't appear to cure the issue. Therefore I purchased a completely new compressor on eBay. I wasn't expect much from it (£120) but to be frank I wanted it to last about a month for the honeymoon and I would sort upon my return. Nevertheless it didn't work and the error remains. The compressor runs and does vent a few puffs and then the error returns.

Folks I'm looking for some advice as to what to do. We are supposed to leave on our honeymoon on Tuesday and we are not sure if we should take it with us or not. It was our dream to use the RR and I'm struggling to fix it before Tuesday.

If anyone knows a good specialist in Scotland perhaps that I could bring it to that could be a runner? Or something I could do now to try and get it going. In particular Air Sup, as I think I have the Restricted Performance sorted.

Thank you in advance.

Congratulations. Whereabouts in Scotland are you headed? Might help people provide recommendations. If you're heading East coast then MMP would be an excellent choice but you might struggle with availability. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Cheers!

We are getting the ferry from Larne, and at first doing Lough Loman, Lough Ness and then over to the Isle of Skye followed by a dash up to John O'Groats. Then we are heading down to Edinburgh to meet friends...

I will check out MMP, the only thing is that they are on the return leg, but still better than nothing.

It's something so simple, but I has me bet so far!
