Halfords tool kit

Hey guys I bought one of these tool kits about 8 months ago and for the price (£190) I've got to say it's probably the best piece of kit I've ever bought. It has everything you need to work on your car at home with all the torx and hex bits and everything else you need and a lifetime warranty. 5 star reviews so thought I would share if anyone on here is looking for a complete tool kit.

I’m looking to purchase one of these tool kits (partially a Father’s Day present too) so it’s nice to hear some positive comments about it! Thumbs Up

At the moment I am swinging between the 150pc and 175pc kits as you get the impact sockets with the larger set… I just need to look at what else the extra £60 gets you to decide if it’s worth it or not. Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

Past rides:
2014 Audi Q7 3.0d (good riddance)
2010 L322 Autobiography 5.0 Supercharged
2011 L320 HSE 3.0 sdv6
2014 Jaguar XF-RS 5.0 supercharged
2007 BMW 535D
2005 Mini Cooper S

They are well worth the money. I was going to go for the bigger set but I bought a Ryobi impact drill set too at the same time which is another handy piece of kit to have.
A mate of mine bought the exact tool kit too just after I did and he thinks it's great too. I'd say go for it.

Halfords have regular sales on these sets - so unless it's an urgent need, it's worth watching their website for a while.

I’ve been looking at the deals available with little luck so far, and was hoping for a Father’s Day deal coming along… no such luck yet!

No matter when I buy, there will be a great deal the week after Rolling Eyes Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

I too have been using the Halfords Advanced kit for years. It's great quality and has taken everything I've thrown at it. Kev

Ffrr lover if you know someone that has a Halfords trade card maybe you could use that to get a trade discount. Silly me forgot my brother has one because he works at land rover in Solihull so I could have got mine cheaper.

Best too watch out for the sales, you can normally get a better bargain than the trade card discount.

I have the 150 piece kit and the 200 piece kit. the extra bits in the 200 are useful, but the kit is heavy so it get less use than the 150 piece kit 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

I also bought this too at the same time I bought the tool kit. I've used it twice and took the nuts of with ease. Not used it on the fattie yet but so much easier and quicker than using a wheel brace.

I now have the 150pc tool kit Thumbs Up

Got a great deal of “I was bought for me” so I managed to save £195 Very Happy

I had expected to head out and partially pay for it in the near future with any “cash vouchers” I got today, but instead had the tool kit handed to me… well, dragged to me rather than handed Very Happy

I’ve already used the 8mm ratchet and no complaints so far… Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8
