New Defender 130

Not entirely sure why it’s in a disguise, as I’m pretty sure we know what a Defender looks like.

Interesting with 3 rows of seats……

The 90 is the only model that "looks right".

Seems more like they are trying too make a defender more of an every day car to ship the family around in where as the older versions was for more throwing the hay bales in and carting it across the field.

I like it. I think the proportions look right. Always thought the 110 looked a bit chopped off and the 90 is too short to be useful Paul

Yep - 7 seats seems to be about the only reason to buy a Disco 5.

Farmers buy pickups for moving bales around, they have for years and they’ll sell a lot more as family trucks! MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Not a Disco 5 fan. And the Sport looks about the same to me…..

Yes, folks will be wanting the Defender I imagine. Very practical.

I may be imagining it, but wasn’t there supposed a double cab pick up version of the new 130” as well?

Massive oversight if they don't release a dual cab. Last I heard was that it wasn't on their radar. Gillie

Shame it’s disguised but I think it looks good. The 90 looks great but lacks practicality; the 110 doesn’t work (for me) but this one looks like a do it all… I’ll have a fully electric one please!

Almost like for like as a replacement for the D4 really. I would have a 110 hard top if someone was offering…… There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I like what I see of it, as I'm a sucker for anything LWB. I agree it may steal Discovery sales, but perhaps this will be the new entry 'Discovery' level, as everything else above including the Discovery takes a jump up in both price and luxury. Encourage alternative fuels, use all the petrol!

I’m slightly
embarrassed to admit that I quite like it, not enough to hand over my own money for, but certainly quirky and interesting. Current: Range Rover L322 4.4tdv8, Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2, BMW 535d Touring, Skoda Fabia, BMW S1000XR
