Watching TV and DVDs when parked

Just wondering if anyone has a way of watching the TV,DVDs etc when parked to avoid the shutdown after about 3 minutes with engine off? I realise it is to protect the battery but it seems a bit conservative! Shocked 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel
