Visiting Scotland

Hello,
SWMBO and myself are leaving South Wales and heading to Scotland for a holiday, leaving tomorrow am. Stopping at Edinburgh first night and then heading to Dornoch which will be base camp and have 4 days of travelling the NC500.
Back down to Edinburgh and then running home.
Ill clear all MPG figures and Mileage and will do a final figure to see how the car does.

If anyone spots us about give us a beep and wave or come over and say hello.

I know some are interested in mpg figures and stuff so it might be interesting to see how mine goes on the whole trip.

Here’s my car, its not too hard to spot with the Chromoflair Spectral Blue paint

Thank you Dr F.

It’s great now to get out and about as Wales and Scotland have been having different Covid rules to the rest of the UK Banging Head Banging Head

So the results are in.

7 days travel touring Scotland, 3 routes of the NC500 and return back to Wales.

1,827 miles covered. 27.8mpg for the trip and a probably will never see again, when filled up at the end 541 miles to go on a full tank.

On some days actually had 31.6mpg

A lot of breathtaking scenery, with some amazing places visited.

And the obligatory John O’ Groats picture

Better than I expected to be honest even after possible figure discrepancies from car figure to actual.

If any are thinking of doing the NC500, do it, you will not be disappointed Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 19MY SVA-Dynamic Spectral Chromoflair Blue but colour not available in profile

Hi Stevepen, we stayed in Dornoch Links House Hotel. It’s a little gem of a place I hope you enjoyed your trip as much as we did Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 19MY SVA-Dynamic Spectral Chromoflair Blue but colour not available in profile
