I'm looking for a 405 and those 'that think they know best' are telling me to avoid the 3.0. These same folk are also suggesting the 3.0 F Pace as an alternative car - excuse my ignorance but do they not share the same engine?

I would think the F Pace would have the 3.0 ingenium rather than the 3.0 SDV6 engine as found in the L405 sir...

They had the Lion V6, like the RR, before the straight six Ingenium diesels arrived.

Just buy a Supercharged.... problem solved....  Pete

I had a 2017 FPace 3.0 V6. 300 HP engine, just like the one in the RR, RRS and D4. Had the car a year from new and the engine was faultless, unlike the ICE and other electrical systems…..

Newer ones have the igenium 6 cyl, but not aware this engine lunches crankshafts.

I had my 3.0L MY13 RR for 4 years and had no issues at all. Great car. ------------------------------------------
