Blend motors

Have just got home my latest acquisition, a 2007 TDV8 VSE. 2 things I am needing to sort out pretty quickly and a search is not clearing things up. Firstly I have a clicking blend motor on entry and after switching engine off. Are they the same motors as on earlier cars like my old TD6? when that started clicking it was on entry only and much louder.
2nd issue is dash warning Water in Fuel. I have a very recent dealer invoice stating they have checked this out, no water found but fitted a new filter anyway. Can I just disconnect the wiring to rid the warning or is there more involved 2007 TDV8 VSE

Took blend motor out, disassembled, cleaned lubed and refitted and no more clicking. This was a couple of weeks back and no return of noise so jobs a good`n

Water in the fuel warning message, I removed the wire from the sensor, this is a single wire on a grip fitting that needs a fair bit of downward force to release it. No errors and no warnings since. 2007 TDV8 VSE
