IID BT on other vehicles

Hi Gang

Its been a while - have you missed me Laughing

Quick question - I kno wmy IID BT can only change things on my car as its VIN locked but can I use it on non Land Rovers to read fault codes (ie my Dad's Merc)..?

I suspect its a no but just wondering.

no chance - it doesn't even work on similar platform vehicles like Jag etc
