I have been having some chat over on the Clio groups about buying up some spares to bring with me on track days etc. Some pretty good ones there.

It got me thinking about soon to be driving and loved L322... are there are quick win parts that put you at the roadside when gone?

I'm wondering about things like belts, crank sensors?

It might be a fools errand on something like a LR compared to a bare bones hot hatch track car... I mean, where do you draw the line?

Just wondering has anybody done similar for longer treks? I wonder what they carried on the G4 Challenge series.

A good jumpstart pack got me out of every breakdown on our old L322, otherwise it never didn’t get home with a fault closest call was the alternator but you’d never change that roadside on a 3.6.

AA relay, GAP IID Tool, booster pack, puncture repair kit, merc sprinter bottle jack, large breaker bar with long socket for wheel nuts. Tyre inflator. No parts as such apart from the usual fuses and bulbs. Small tool kit but this is as much for quick access when doing jobs rather than any emergency repairs. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
