Have a look around the front grill and see if there is a radar jammer. Mine had one when I bought it. The fines are stiff for them so I whipped it and all the wiring out pronto.

dont thinks its that as it looks like it was designed to be there as its built into console. L322 4,4 TDV8

That’s not factory fitted, but looks tidy. As Stan says, need to follow the wires.

The side panels near the climate controls pop off easy enough, so you can see the front of the centre console, but as you say, bit of a big job to go further….
