Sitting on the driveway for 12 days...

Just came back from a business trip which kept me away for nearly two weeks...
Old girl's too big for my garage so parked her and covered her on the driveway.
Temperatures ranged from mildly hot to downright freezing and we had some insane amounts of rain, too.
So it was only natural to be mildly concerned as to what I was returning to Whistle
Glad to report zero spots underneath, zero loss of air from suspension and a healthy residual battery charge.

She fired up right away!

Had never left her sitting for such a long time in my 2 years of ownership...

Very, very happy indeed

Ooo that’s good. Normally they struggle to power even the clock when left to their own devices for a bit 🤣

I am aware of that and was genuinely impressed! Even had the charger ready before uncovering. So yes, it turns out it's possible to have them sitting for a while and not worry...

I keep mine on a ctek all the time when its on the drive. I run a rcd'd cable with waterproof plug down through the top of the bonnet. also I have the towing electics option. it just depends which way round I have parked it / her
