England 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

I have one of the first dealer allocated cars in the country coming. Only 4 allocated to the dealer so I was quite pleased.

Mine will have a black roof
Sliding pan
23” wheels
Shadow pack
Privacy rear glass
HSE spec with the D350

few other bits. Couldn’t chose the spec 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

Gunning, that’s most interesting. Did they say when you’d receive it? At the previews they said they weren’t yet sure when they’d start building SE/HSE as they were prioritising FE/AB.

There are plenty of dealer-specified HSEs from what I’ve seen.

I was told that it didn’t matter what you ordered it would be completely random as to what comes through when depending on availability of parts. Vehicles are being slotted and unslotted all the time. Basically you can’t be sure when your car will come until it starts going down the line.

Same story at BMW. I had an M3 on order since June with a production week beginning of October. This didn’t change until the 30 September and then it got pushed back to February then brought forward to December and now there is no date at all.

Is it a matter of calling round the dealers to see who has what on order or is it centralised somewhere? MY23 D350 HSE

Have to say from what I have seen I love it. ESPECIALLY now that they have a decent green in the palette that is very similar to Tonga from what I can see (my all time fave)

Tempted to place an order but might wait for the PHEV versions.

Have a read what Mikef says here about his PHEV experience, as a result I decided to order a D350. I decided the PHEV drive train experience wasn't for me, and it wasn't worth the wait or the extra £10k-£15k price hike.

The new PHEV will be a 6cyl petrol with either 400 or 500bhp, so in effect as quick as a L405 V8 petrol and as economical as a diesel. Along with the added bonus of running it through your business for about £4K BIK

For me the PHEV is an absolute non brainer, no more smelly diesel, good performance and the tax man doesn’t take all the joy away.

PHEV is great, until the battery runs out. Good for town, not so much (still) if you’ve got 200 miles to do

After having, diesel, petrol for years and now full battery I’d say a PHEV is a great all round solution

7 CDB - Is that roughly what you expect the BIK to be?

So in short, if my company buys the car, irrespective of my income, the additional tax applied to me for running a new PHEV will only be approximately £4k per annum?

Based on £130k car
30 grams of CO2 with 62mile full electric range
8% BIK means £10,200
£2k tax @ 20% rate
£4K tax @ 40% rate

Basically
Lease it for £1750 from business account and costs you personally £4K a year

That's fantastic!! Thanks for that 7 CDB

Does the same apply if the company buys it outright?
