Replacing rear calipers

Evening all
New rear calipers fitted yesterday. No dramas for a change! 2 bolts and hose on each side to change the caliper and a little bit of bleeding fluids. TRW units used. Same as original fitment but the Land Rover branding was ground off as I bought them via a local motor factor. Significant saving against the branded Land Rover parts even though they are identical in all but price!
Regards
Mark

How did you know they were TRW?
Was the TRW logo cast into the caliper housing? Paul,

TRW boxes. TRW on the castings. Castings had the same markings. TRW original equipment supplier. The Land Rover oval logos were ground off and painted over. The local motor factors are a top notch outfit that I’ve used for 10s of years…..no reason to think they supply anything other than top merchandise.

Think they were the same🤔

They are usually refurbished by a company in the West Midlands for all the motor factors. Keeps a quality refurbishment that way Thumbs Up
