United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey
High Insurance Premium

Hi Folks,

I got my renewal through this year and it very high. Now I am 42 with full NCB and no points, no bans, no accidents living in a rural areas and the best I have is £1700 on a 2021 Vogue. Seems a bit steep to me, anyone recommend insurers I should try out?

The best option is the comparison sites, but I'm with Churchill. A couple of years older, but everything else is the same and it's insured for business use, 20k miles a year and my wife as a named driver. It was £682 this year. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

That's a good start! My renewal was £838 but after a phone call I got it down to £682. I'd normally not give them the opportunity as not getting the best price first really annoys me, but there wasn't anyone else much under £1000 when I went on the comparison sites. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

No good for James - but SAGA are great for me - they are the only company I could find that offer unlimited European cover. Everyone else was 30 or a few at 90 days.

thanks for the info on Darwin not covering sunroof, they just came up as my cheapest as well (£380 on a 2013 AB), but Ill steer clear based on that sunroof liability

I paid £894 for a two-car policy from Adrian Flux which covers the Range Rover and my D2 with all mods (HD bumpers front & rear, winch, roof rack, lights, rock sliders, steering, tank and diff guards) and it covers green lanes and P&P sites for the D2.

I'm 61, full NCD, no convictions, claims or points, semi-rural location.

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.
