United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange
Another one has turned up!

Picked up a nice 2010 facelift 3.6tdv8 in Buckingham Blue with the fancy aniline parchment leather and cherry wood bits. Nice spec being the Vogue SE but no rear entertainment…. I’m not too bother about that as it never got used in the last one.

Quite like the face lifted dash clocks and entertainment screen, it goes someway to making it a bit more current feeling.

It arrived with 3 x 21” alloys that were kerbed and one style 9 which I assume was the spare. Managed to find 4 refurbished wheels which arrive this weekend as do a set of Pirelli Scorpion Verdes.
Swapped the start stop button for one that wasn’t cracked with help from facebook and the write up on here. I was expecting to strip the dash but it just pops out nice and simple!

Just needs a service next and possibly the front brakes swapping to the bigger Brembo units as they were superb on my 07 L322.

It’s not going on the road until Feb as I disagree with back taxing… til then, I’ll just keep cleaning it lol! 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg

Thanks.

The interior took some cleaning up but came out not too bad. Drivers seat possibly needs re-colouring at some point but it’s better than the starting point.

Well this didn’t last long, for no other reason than my mum took a shine to it and decided it was a better car for the awful roads on Skye than her Citroen C3 thing. I delivered it back in Feb and the drive up there was superb, what better way to waft through the highlands?

@VeryDisco, I’ll start another post about CNV… Very Happy 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg

If it’s going to live up there then I’d do some heavy duty rust prevention asap sir… The third Gen 322’s rot quicker than their predecessors!

Oh and just incase you decide on that brake upgrade? You will need to look for the 6 piston callipers from the 2011 onwards 4.4TDV8’s as your bolt holes are too big for the 4 piston 07 322 brakes you mentioned above… 👍

It’s fortunate to have solid, rot free rear arches and the underside has been treated with Buzzweld and dinitrol before going up there.
In the end I didn’t bother with the brake upgrade as my mum doesn’t pedal as hard as I do. Besides, I reckon a couple of fill ups at the pump and she’ll be asking me to find a new home for it! 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg
