The unit, when you go to the link, looks wrong. Does not have the surrounding buttons as in the chat. What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time. |

It retains the unit. It's what's on the screen that changes so you can toggle between the original and the new. It mirrors your phone. Check out the thread and the website.

Not sure I see that it does all the exiting functions. Also, doe this require an Apple phone? What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time. |

Did you go for this in the end? Does the mirroring function mean you can control the iPhone/android via the OEM touchscreen? Or else you need to be handling your phone when driving which is not allowed? |

I had the Navtool on my 58 plate, works off the touchscreen for Apple car play and was a fantastic bit of kit and straightforward to install.
