Thank you David… Will take a little while for the Bodyshop to paint the bits but at least that gives me time to strip and refinish things like the brakes… 👍

Watching with interest.

Sure it'll look great when done. What do I put here then?

Do you also need to replace the bonnet & grill to accommodate the new style light?

Cosmetically You need to change the headlights, grille, bumper & bonnet...

Rear will be rear lights & rear bumper...

Not forgetting everything you don't see behind the outer skin... Whistle Thumbs Up

I’ve wondered about a 2012 facelift on my 2007 car but it’s all of the bits behind the scenes that puts me off doing that one. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

The brakes on my car have never felt as good as I think they should have. So, today I stripped them so I could visually inspect them and see if there were any issues with the braking components...

I was shocked to see the rear caliper carrier bolt loose! Shocked

I removed the brake pads to find they are the ECP specials i had warned the forum about... Bloody brilliant! Needs new pads all the way around!

I have removed the discs now so that I can paint the bells and the outer cooling vanes so they don't rust and look YUK in five minutes...

More to follow as I progress... Thumbs Up

On an approved used car that caliper bolt is very disappointing!

I don’t understand why someone would have a car like that and fit cheap brakes to it either!

It’ll be fantastic once you’ve worked your magic on it!

David, i don't think the Brembo brakes are that cheap to buy albeit they are the cheapest composition hence feeling "crap" to press... Rolling Eyes
