United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue
L322 Wiper Blades

Another wiper blades thread unfortunately!

In March after reading through various threads on here, I fitted a set of the HQ flat blades from eBay to my L322. After a month or so the drivers one has left a patch in the middle of the windscreen which is irritating beyond belief as it's right in my line of sight.

Now the weather has turned and it's getting wetter I want to replace them.

Does anybody know if there are any other decent brand flat blades that work with the L322? If not, I'll likely put the arms back to standard and go for genuine blades.

Thanks,

Hmm, I just bought a set of the HQ blades for mine based on feedback here, hopefully your issue is more of a one-off.

I bought the HQ ones as people on here said they were great too.

If I'm in a minority having problems with them I'm almost tempted to order another set and give them a go.

I believe the wiper arms on the D3 & D4 are totally different to the ones on the 322 even after the spoiler bit that clips in has been removed.

DrRob - do you know which Bosch ones fit? The Halfrauds website suggests the AP26U does.

I put Bosch ones on as below. £21 for a pair from Amazon delivered tomorrow - they took me 2 mins to fit and work perfectly.

i used to use Bosch 808 which were fine but never lasted long, changed mostly every year.
then after reading here on forum, ordered HQ ones from ebay link.
They definintely leave a small spot and have become noisy with every stroke.

only 3 weeks old. so not v impressed.

I almost ordered another set of HQ last night wondering if mine have been a bad bunch but am glad I didn't now.

I ordered a set of Bosch AP26U flat blades from Halfords yesterday but unsurprisingly they didn't have the right adapters in them to fit them to the car.

Does anyone know the number for the actual Bosch flat blades that fit?

If not, I'm likely to go genuine again unfortunately.

I've been using the HQ blades since just after buying the car 4 yrs ago - now on my 3rd set.
Never had a problem with them - always clean well & quietly.
They've always lasted around a year before the centre area of the rubber splits on one side or the other & I then swop both for a new pair. At the price they are, I'm more than happy with them as great value for money - especially if you buy 2 pairs at once.

dhallworth - what caused the missed patch on your 1 month old blades ?
Has the rubber split or is the blade somehow missing that bit of the screen (I'm assuming there's no contamination on the screen or blade preventing them cleaning properly & the blade is at the correct angle?) Paul,
