Start/ Stop Button , should it be illuminated

Please bless me with your bottomless L405 knowledge.

I have recently purchased a 2013 4.4 L405, finding the start button in the dark is a bit like returning home drunk and trying to get the key on the door!

Should it be illuminated?

That’s a little strange Stan. How would you see the button to start the engine when you first get in?

I’ll have a look what mine do and report back… 👍

Mines like Stans - I’ve never had any difficulty finding it - I’d like to think one of my superpowers is seeing in the dark but I suspect it’s more to do with the interior light Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Geoff

Mine is not lit until you press it and I can find it because the interior light is on.

Do you guys open the door before you switch off?

How is the interior light on at the end of your journey fellas?

At the end of your journey the engine is still running and the start/stop button is lit.

Had good look at my start button again no provision for lighting up, solid rubberised push switch no back lighting.
Must have got the parts bin car or aliexpress special from the factory.
Hmmm!
