Hi All,

So I'm very tempted to splash out on this upgrade ( https://rangeroverworld.co.uk/infotainment-upgrades as I spend a lot of time in the car, a fair bit waiting to collect kids from clubs, but I have a question if I may.

Does anyone know if its possible to add/install things like SkyGo and/or Netflix etc to this unit. I don't think wither of those worl=k via carplay and this is a must for me.

I'm seeing Charles from Range Rover World tomorrow, I'll ask him, I imagine you can as they both have Android apps, can't say I've tried with mine though.......  Pete

which ever system you go for Ash remember that the engine will have to be running to watch any video for more than 3 secs... ... - .- -.

what Ash says Pete..

the electronics shut down after a pre-set time [10 mins?] with the engine off so trying to listen to the radio or watch a video is not practicable...
if i need to wait in the FF then its a tablet/ipad for me..

Ash, I spoke to Charles, yes you can watch Netflix and SkyGo on the head unit, Sky will stop mobile units from watching live shows and it does consider it a mobile unit but that is the same with any head unit.

I'm upgrading my Android head unit to the latest L460 style, and I will be doing an in depth appraisal of this latest unit...

I'm also in the process of organising a forum discount for this unit, They have had a run on them and have no stock left at the moment, more should be available soon...

I'll post up information as soon as I can...

Also any news on a group buy price for the 2021 android system

While I’m here, I’m not sure that sky are withdrawing the Skygo app. The think is the Sky+ app that’s being discontinued - but I might be wrong.
