Hi its a Dynavin E39 unit made for a bmw but after research i found its the same size as the original unit its based on windows ce so unlocking it was easy and now i have full windows utillitys as well as a patch you can get from the net that will allow internet acsess via a usb dongle, the nav software im using is primo but you can use all types, the system intergrates with your steering wheel controls so you have all that the original had

igo primo is excellent , takes a fews seconds to boot up from wince but worth it...

so i gather you have usb input and iphone integration as well..

Could one assume however that you don't get the LR computer stuff via the aftermarket unit? Things like DSP control, fuel resets and clocks etc.. All the stuff that shows up on the dash display also? Ash

This is exactly what I am after. The ability to still have the time, mpg settings etc from the glove box is perfect.
Looks great Thumbs Up FFRR TD6 HSE
