[For Sale] 4.8is exhausts for m62 4.4 l322 or x5

Unusual one this, but about 3 months prior to having to get rid of my old 4.4 m62 due to the rust I bought a pair of exhausts from a 4.8is x5.

The forums are littered with people replacing the 4.4 exhausts with these and they make a massive difference without sounding boy racer.

YouTube used to have videos.

The pipe work shape is similar so would just need a little customisation - most should be available from Jetex for a DIY as I did look into it.

These are mega rare I waited a year for the pair and paid £250.

I had forgotten about them until I had a leak in my shed yesterday and had to get everything out. They are still wrapped up hence no pics but if needed I can open an end for pics.

After £150 for the pair

Cheers Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

what part of the exhaust(s) are we talking? manifolds, cats, or main section?

Ok, I asked as although I don’t have my old m62 car now, I have another car that has same engine, so was wondering if the sale was for the manifold areas… but thanks for the picture. -far too big for what I have (Bmw 8 series vCool
