753 sat nav code not working after new battery

I know that it used to work, but since installing a new battery my gps has a red line through it. I can get to the screen to enter the code, but 753 doesn’t work. It used to.

Does anyone know how to get/reset the code? I have an IID tool if needed.

Cheers,

Rick

OK, so I've found the issue.

There are TWO diganotic screens. I must confess that my memory didn't serve me well, and I touched the top of the screen in the middle followed by touching in the same place. This brings up a Sat Nav diagnostic.

When I followed the instructions correctly, touch in the middle, then the top left, the 753 code worked fine.

Just need to figure out the fault on my GPS now, I suspect antenna failure, as no GPS signal is received.

Cheers,

Rick

dis-connect the battery, wait 30mins and re-connect...turn the steering wheel fully left then right..

it might be that the relevant ecus might need a re-boot. ... - .- -.

I'll give that a go.

Is disconnecting the battery to reset ECUs different from the vehicle reset option in IIDtool? I've already done that reset and it didn't help with the GPS issue.

It looks to me like the headlining has been lowered at the back before, so I suspect a previous owner may have had the problem. I can't honestly remember if the GPS was working on the Sat Nav, as I usually don't use it.

Cheers,

Rick
